The BGA has no silage clamps, thank goodness I usually use a wrapper and not a clamp. Then I got to the NW corner of the map and that was when I got to thinking the map was either rushed, or by the point the person converting the map just gave up and said ahh, good enough.
Ok Ok, that's a small gripe but it would have been nicer and easier to have the map maker place them, or at least space for them, rather than the player having to use the landscaping tool to do it. Besides there was no Grape Processor, Cereal Factory, or Oil Processing Factory. Plenty for grains, but not as many for other product. So I then looked at the number of production/sell point. Surely the fast food restaurant could have replaced 1 Ma Familia, and the small grocery mart could had stood in for 1 of Mi Familia's? In total I found 10ish Cody's Tory Stores and about 5 Mi Familia's. So I drove around town looking for places I could put the restaurant, diner, Pizzaria. Found the Grocery Mart, bakery, the spinnery and the dairy, but that was it for sell/production points in town. another Ma Familia restaurant and a Cody's toy store, that must have made 3 of each I'd passed. I found the vehicle dealership right where it was, but the mall was different. Then I drove around town looking for things like sell points. No manure point mind you but that's an easy fix.
Apart from the updated cow barn, the fields and the fence were the same. After going the back roads, found myself at the Cow Barn. So then I continued to Mary's Farm and the Animal Dealer, think wow how many hours did I spend driving this area to either do field work or take stuff to the sell points. I checked later and even on FS17 they had to correct crossing signals bells, and gates. Maybe that's what was on the original map I thought. The first thing I notice driving south from the farm was that the Railroad crossings we european and no US/Canadian. So then I decided to do a vehicle tour in my trust pick up. Sell points like Mary's Farm and Wright's sell point all there. While doing my quick "flyby" everything look to be in good order, new/updated trees, fields where they were supposed to be. So when I was done running around and got home I installed Goldcrest Valley 22 and what went from Glee soon turned to disappointment. I played this map a ton on FS17 before moving on to bigger maps. One of my favorite "Giants" maps brought back for FS22. So I got up this morning and before I left to do my errands I noticed mudhob had already been updated and there it was calling me.
